Our Story

Atri AI was founded by researchers from IIT Madras with a simple yet powerful vision to make artificial intelligence truly scalable, secure, and impactful in the real world.

Our journey began on the roads.
While working on intelligent traffic systems and video analytics, we saw the promise of AI, but also its limits. Conventional cloud-based models were too slow, too bandwidth-hungry, and too disconnected from where decisions actually needed to happen. The world did not need more data centers; it needed AI that could think and act in real time, right at the edge.

That realization became our turning point.
We began reimagining AI from the ground up, not as software that depends on the cloud, but as an intelligence that lives where the data is born. Out of that effort came two breakthrough technologies that define who we are today:
